The Village of Hartford is located just east of
Johnstown in Central Ohio. Also known as Croton, the village is a small farming
community with close to 800 residents.
The department consists of a Chief,
Lieutenant, Sergeant and 10 Patrol Officers. We own two Ford Crown Victoria Police
Intercepters and have a Bike Patrol from late spring to early winter. We provide all
standard police services for the village, including: traffic enforcement, junk
vehicle detail, warrant service, investigations, and crime prevention. We also
provide additional security for the Hartford Fair, a week long event in August.
